Georges grew up in Paris with his father Prince Louis-Philippe and his mother Charlotte Austricourt of Arganville. Beside the music and poetry Georges, a pencil in hand and at the age of 8 years, discovered a passion, drawing and painting. Georges did all his studies in Paris, intelligent student but "a dreamer", his books were all covered with drawing on themes of nature, flowers and windmills, country scenes, views of ocean and faraway lands. Each year the holiday was the south of France, the warm colours of landscapes and scents of lavender loaded, wildflowers and slight summer breeze. Back in Paris, his parents saw for him a career in law or in business, but soon after many trials at persuasion and after many odd jobs in banks and notaries, they had to resign themselves : Georges is a painter. Georges could not forget the south, this region left an indelible imprint in his memory and his heart.
In 1987, the family moved to the United States, near New York, where his father's business called him. It was Georges's opportunity to discover this land which he has dreamed for so many years. He then devoted himself entirely to his art. With this wonderful holiday memories of southern and happiness that he wished to portray in his paintings. Today recognized in the United States and worldwide. Georges continues to share and to give happiness to the eyes and soul with the simplicity, accessibility and his talent that has not finished amaze us. Always between two planes, Georges regularly returns to his roots in France to relax and meet his many friends and admirers who are still waiting with impatience to discover his new works.
